If you visit the city of Padang in West Sumatra, you will stop at this tourist attraction. The name is Pasie Jambak Beach or Pasir Jambak Beach, where you can enjoy the beauty of the sunset while relaxing in the gazebo overlooking the beach.
Enjoy coconut satay and prawns in the form of dry powder already packed in flour. Thanks to the wide and flat contours of the beach, you can also cycle along the beach. Hmmm, a picnic that you can hardly forget.
Padang is one of the seven districts / cities of West Sumatra and is located on the west coast of Sumatra, overlooking the Indian Ocean.
All of Padang's seaside resorts in the Indian Ocean face west, towards the setting sun, including the beach at Pasir Jambak.
It can even be said that all the beaches in Padang, including Pasir Jambak Beach, are the best place to see the beauty of the sunset. The part of the beach, which is managed independently by the local people, is relatively mild.
The sandy beach of Jambak is adorned with white 2 meter high sand, which is eroded by the sea water surface with quite active waves. What makes the atmosphere of this beach so special is the beautiful array of pine trees for the photo booths and coconut palms that adorn the location of this beach.
The length of the coast at this point and its position so close to the point of displacement of the bottom plate make it susceptible to abrasion and tsunami hazards, but it also has its characteristics on the beach.
The wide and flat contours of the beach allow you to take a bike ride along the beach. Due to the active nature of the waves, tourists can practice surfing.
Pasir Jambak Beach is located approximately 17 to 20 kilometers from the center of Padang in the north over the Padang-Bukittinggi highway, including the Kotao Tangah administrative district (city center).
Driving takes only half an hour. If you choose public transport, you can use the urban transport route Pasar Raya-Lubuk Buaya.
After you have crossed the bridge and turn left, you will find the instructions for this beach. However, the distance between the motorway junction and public transport, which is exactly at kilometer 14, is still quite far from the beach and is rarely used by public transport.
It is therefore recommended to anyone planning to drive to the beach to use a private vehicle or rent a car. The location of the beach is 1 km from the main entrance.
